LIVING STONES
Prayer House „House of Life“

We met Mark and Cathy Warwick in the autumn of 2014, during an extended stay at the German prayer house on the Mount of Olives. They shared their vision of establishing a prayer house in Auschwitz.
Shortly after returning from Jerusalem to Poland, they were offered land for purchase. This was the first buildable plot of land in front of the entrance to the Birkenau concentration camp.
In January 2015, during a week of prayer in Auschwitz to mark the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, about 20 Messianic Jews, 40 Polish brothers and sisters, and 70 German-speaking intercessors gathered to pray for the emerging prayer house on the newly acquired land.
Over the years which followed, Mark and Cathy have built up the prayer house with wisdom and love.

They describe their vision for LIVING STONES with these powerful words:
“The ovens in Auschwitz burned day and night. The smoke and the smell of death were everywhere. Now, however, God wants the fire of the Holy Spirit to burn day and night – a rhythm of worship and prayer that releases the fragrance of God.“
