FATHER’S HOUSE
German Prayer House on the Mount of Olives

What a privilege and grace that in the aftermath of the Holocaust, we as Germans, have a prayer house on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem! Overlooking the Golden Gate and the Old City of Jerusalem, God is worshiped day and night here, and prayers are offered up for Israel, the Middle East and Europe.
The house was established in 1965 by Sister Basilea Schlink and her fellow sisters after an intense period of repentance for what happened during the Holocaust. When the sisterhood left the house at the end of the 1990s, it was taken over in 2002 by Pastor Andreas Bauer and his dear wife Adelheid from the Jerusalem Congregation in Berlin.

Since 2012, we have had a good relationship with the Father’s House. During an extended stay there between 2014 and 2015, a deeper understanding of God’s plan of salvation for Israel and the nations was developed through many hours of prayer and fellowship with other believers. During this time, a deep heart connection with the Father’s House was established.
